From the peaks of the Andes to the rivers of the jungle, this journey combines breathtaking landscapes with a moving exploration of faith, courage, and the enduring impact of the Gospel.

With the help of local guides from the Waorani community (formerly known as the Aucas), and trusted partners such as Mission Aviation Fellowship, your group will move from the historic streets of Quito into the Amazon jungle, with the story unfolding naturally along the way.

You’ll stand on the equator line at Mitad del Mundo, explore Quito’s beautifully preserved Old Town, and take in sweeping views of the Andes. Then the journey shifts. You’ll travel to Shell/Mera, visit the mission base where Nate Saint and the team prepared for their flights, and see the Nate Saint Museum. From there, you’ll head into the jungle, by canoe or air, toward the Curaray River and the Palm Beach area, where the events of January 8, 1956 took place.

This is not a lecture tour. It’s a shared experience. Along the way, you’ll hear firsthand perspectives that connect what happened then to what has unfolded since. In between these defining moments, you’ll experience the beauty and culture of Ecuador—lush jungle landscapes, winding rivers, vibrant markets, and local cuisine—creating a journey that is as enjoyable as it is meaningful.
