Delve deeper into history with visits to Pointe du Hoc, the Normandy American Cemetery, and Sainte-Mère-Église—the first town liberated by American paratroopers. Walk the sites where bravery shaped history.

Normandy to Reims, France
You’ll travel by private luxury coach to the unofficial capital of the Champagne region and enjoy a scenic lunch at a renowned Champagne Winery. After checking into your third luxury hotel you’ll have the afternoon free to explore Reims, a historic city famous for its Notre-Dame Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site where French kings were once crowned.

The Battle of the Bulge Begins. Travel by private coach to Bastogne, Belgium, and check into our fourth luxury hotel. Begin exploring the sites of the Battle of the Bulge, including foxholes at Bois Jacques and the Bastogne Barracks. Enjoy lunch at Le Nuts Café in Bastogne – named after General McAuliffe’s famous response.

Pay our respects at the Luxembourg American Cemetery, resting place of thousands of soldiers including General Patton. Explore the Diekirch National Museum of Military History and enjoy a historic dinner at a Belgian château.

Belgium to Germany and the Cold War
Enjoy a slower morning today with free time to explore the city center and perhaps grab a famous Belgian waffle before boarding a short flight to Berlin, where we’ll check into our fifth luxury hotel.

The Cold War
America’s Role in a Divided Berlin. Tour the Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery, and Checkpoint Charlie, tracing the city’s dramatic history. Lunch at the Allied Museum Café, a historic wartime gathering spot. This afternoon and evening you’ll be free to explore Berlin and may want to take in some optional experiences such as the Teufelsberg Spy Station, Stasi Prison Museum, German Resistance Memorial Center, stand on the Bridge of Spies, or have a drink while taking in the best panoramic view of Berlin at the Fernsehturm (Berlin
TV Tower) – Originally built as a Communist showpiece.

Fly to Munich
Dachau Concentration Camp. After our short flight we’ll visit Dachau Concentration Camp, a sobering but essential stop and check into our sixth and final luxury hotel .

The Eagle’s Nest
Ascend to the legendary Eagle’s Nest in the Bavarian Alps, built as a mountaintop retreat for Adolf Hitler. Perched nearly 6,000 feet above sea level, it served as a strategic location and a symbol of Nazi power, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Learn about its role in history and the dramatic events of WWII before concluding your journey with a farewell dinner celebrating the stories, sites, and experiences of your tour.
